Who Chooses Homeopathy?

For a variety of reasons, many people chose to use Homeopathy when illness strikes; most often it’s when conventional medicine failed to provide a cure.

Famous Patients of Homeopathy

During the early 1970s, rock star and soul singer Tina Turner contracted tuberculosis. She initially sought conventional treatment, but continued to suffer, until she sought care from Dr. Chardra Sharma, MD, a homeopathic doctor in England. In her autobiography she says, “life in the fast lane wore me down, changes in my diet and homeopathy saved me.” ¹

In 1987, Cher was struck by a debilitating viral illness that manifested in chronic fatigue and bouts of pneumonia. She was disabled from working for two years. “I turned to a Sikh homeopathic doctor, almost in desperation. He started doing homeopathic stuff with herbs and vitamin therapy. Many doctors didn’t believe in that back then. Within four months he got me up and back on the road again.” ²

Sir Yehudi Menuhin, world class violinist, has greatly benefited from homeopathy. He says, “Homeopathy is one of those rare medical approaches which carried no penalties – only benefits.”  ³

Her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II‘s personal physician, Dr. Peter Fisher, is a homeopath. Her son, Prince Charles only uses homeopathic medicines, as Princess Diana and their children did. Her Majesty the Queen mother Elizabeth I, until her death at age 101, was the patron and     the principal royal patron of the British Homoeopathic Association. ⁴

Homeopathy Is For Everyone

Homeopathy is not just for the rich and famous! Homeopaths see patients from all walks of life and from all over the world. And in many countries like Great Britain, all European countries, Russia, Israel and India, physicians routinely prescribe homeopathic remedies first- before resorting to suppressive medications (convention drugs). In fact, the governments of these countries recognize homeopathic medicine for its efficacy and cost-effectiveness!

Homeopathy works in almost every case where convention drugs are also used. According to a 2006 study conducted in the Bristol Homeopathic Hospital, a 6,500 patient hospital in England, children respond extremely well to homeopathic treatment. The study found that 89% of children under age 16 with asthma had improvement. 75% felt “better” to “much better”, as did 68% of the children with eczema. 70% of patients of all ages with chronic diseases felt improvement after homeopathic treatment.

More Homeopathy Patient Cases

Karen, who had chronic varicose veins and breech presentations in two previous pregnancies that led to C-sections, decided to try homeopathic treatment when pregnant with her next child. She not only found significant relief in her veins, but her next two babies, both breech, rotated under homeopathic treatment allowing her to have 2 natural births, unassisted by pain killers or surgical intervention.

Sean, a teenager suffering with multiple petite mal seizures per day, sought homeopathic treatment on the advice of his teacher. Under the care of a homeopathic practitioner, he recovered in less than six months, and 10 years later, he has not had a single seizure.

David, a 36 year old carpenter suffered with symptoms of Crohn’s disease that had made his life miserable for over decade. He body grew increasingly reactive to conventional treatments and he and his family could hardly stand the personality changes and violence he exhibited for months after rounds of Prednisone. In fact, he hadn’t been the same since his first dose some 10 years before. After being under homeopathic treatment for 2 months, he was able to stop all conventional drugs. After 9 months, his major symptoms had reduced 80%. After 1 1/2 years, he was doing so well that he reported NO SIGNS or SYMPTOMS of his previous condition. He continued treatment for another 6 months to help further rebuild his immune system and cure his chronic skin condition.

Roxanne, a real estate agent in her early forties, had tried in vain to become pregnant. In desperation she sought treatment from a professional homeopath. One year later, she gave birth to a healthy baby girl. 

Burt, a 67 year old retiree, suffered from depression and high blood pressure.  He was recently diagnosed with diabetes. After two years of treatment by a homeopath he was full of life again, eats an average diet, his blood sugar and blood pressure are normal and a few months ago, he found “the love of his life” on a Caribbean cruise.

Alice, age 84, could only get around in a wheel chair due to having a paralytic weakness of her legs. Yet she refused to become disabled. She consulted a homeopath and within two months she was out of the wheel chair and is now active in a homeopathic study group.

Molly is a 5 year old Airedale terrier who had a sudden drop in platelet count and was diagnosed with “idiopathic thrombocytopenia.” She was bleeding from her eyes, nose and vagina. The veterinarian had given up on her saying “she won’t make it through the night.” Her owner called a homeopath and within 1 week of treatment, Molly quickly recovered. Two years later, she stills “leads the pack” at her house.

All of the above patient stories are true and come from 22 years of full-time clinical practice.

Conclusion

True - many celebrities choose homeopathy. But homeopathy works for all people. The best part about homeopathy is: It’s affordable, safe and effective. And often people with conditions that otherwise would have required life-long medication can be restored to health in a few months.
