personal training information

A Personal Trainer – sometimes called simply “Trainer” – is a professional who educates clients about physical fitness.  A Personal Trainer may work individually with a student or may work with several students at once.  A Personal Trainer designs customized exercise routines and teaches specific physical exercises based on individual needs.  Personal Trainers often help clients focus on improvements in body composition, including weight loss or muscle gain.  A Personal Trainer may also be hired to focus on very specific goals, like an increase in strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, or flexibility. Some Personal Trainers have the qualifications to work with an athlete’s sports performance, including speed and power. Some Personal Trainers may also be qualified to work with people who need help with physical dysfunction, including the improvement of balance, range of motion, knee and shoulder issues, and those released from physical therapy.

What is Personal Training
