  • Nike Roach, BS, CPT, LMBT grew to understand the benefits of MASSAGE THERAPY while stationed in Europe in 1991. As a medic in the army he was often faced with situations where stress was a key obstacle in accomplishing the objective. Many times he was asked to conduct massage therapy on soldiers to relieve tension, pain, and trauma associated with stress. Since his military experience, Nike has been an avid supporter and promoter of integrative health in and around the North Carolina community and opened 6th Sense Wellness Center in 1997. Nike specializes in sports massage, prenatal, acupressure, Thai massage and is a personal trainer.
  • Nike has trained for wholistic health in Europe, Asia, and the United States in a variety therapeutic modalities. He also holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Winston-Salem State University and is currently a M.S. candidate in Sports Studies focusing on sport performance from High Point University. Nike has been a personal trainer in Winston-Salem since 1999 and has experience working for the YWCA, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Department of Family and Community Medicine (Weight Management Program) and has also trained individuals privately. Nike is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, past member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Director of the 6th Sense Foundation, and Board member for the Yoruba Royal Academy.

Omega Blackburn graduated from the Richmond Academy of Massage as a Certified Massage Therapist in 1995. She is a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworker (NCTMB). She was the second Registered Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy® residing in the Commonwealth of Virginia at the time of her confirmation.

Omega is a professional member of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International ®, having completed SOBI's 1000+ hour Registered Advanced Practitioner program, and she is currently enrolling in their Associate Basic SOBI Instructor program. She is a professional member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP); is a Certified Massage Therapist by the nursing board of the Commonwealth of Virginia; she has a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and a former member of the American Massage Therapist Association (AMTA).

Omega has several years of experience in administering Hot Stone Therapy, Ortho-Bionomy®, Deep-Tissue Therapeutic massage, Swedish massage and energetic techniques on-site as well as in chiropractic, clinic and salon settings.

James H. (Doc) Clay, is a clinical massage therapist. He is a graduate of Duke University and holds a Master in Mental Health degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Doc specializes in pain and postural work, especially with children and adolescent with particular interest in dancers. He is the author of Basic Clinical Massage Therapy: Integrating Anatomy and Treatment from which he teaches workshop to massage therapist.

  Dr. Siwei Wang was born and raised in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. She studied both Western and Traditional Chinese medicine at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Upon graduation, she received the equivalent of a MD degree of Oriental Medicine in 1983 and took a job of assistant professor for teaching in medical school and also began the practice of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and western medicine in the Department of Gynecology, Surgery, Internal Medicine in an affiliated hospital of medical school in Chengdu.

  Dr. Wang moved to North Carolina in 1990 to take a position as researcher in Wake Forest University School of Medicine. A few years later, she obtained her Diplomate of  Acupuncture through the Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine., at the same time she became a licensed practitioner for acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in North Carolina.

  Acupuncture has been in common use throughout the East for over 3000 years, and is used as a primary health care system around the world. As an Oriental Medical practitioner, Dr. Wang has the training, knowledge and experience in all modalities of this medicine, including acupuncture, herbal therapy, diet, nutrition, and massage. She provides integrative treatment for patients with chronic pain and a wide range of illness problems, such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, migraines, allergies, asthma, common cold, flu, digestive disturbances, chronic fatigue, stroke, hypertension, depression and women’s problem like menstrual disorder, menopause syndrome, infertility. She also provides supportive care for chemotherapy and radiation therapy and has facilitated rehabilitation and recovery from surgery, stroke and accidents. Dr. Wang stresses wellness, using acupuncture as a preventive medicine to strengthen the body, mind, spirit in order to avoid illness.
