My daughter Skyla is 4
months old. 
I've been learning a lot about how to juggle being a
new mom, an entrepreneur, a wife, a friend, a woman, a daughter, a
mentor... I could go on, but I'm sure you play many roles in your life
as well, so I probably don't have to explain what it feels like to be
"busy."
Juggling the many roles we play can be overwhelming.
Do
you feel anxious and overwhelmed sometimes?
Do you find
yourself multi-tasking but not really getting things done?
Excessive
multi-tasking, juggling responsibility and a busy monkey mind sometimes
bite me in the butt causing less productivity and MORE worry.
Worrying
drains energy and we could all use extra tools to deal when anxiety and
overwhelm creeps up on us. You already know this, but sometimes it's
nice to be reminded:
We can't always control what's happening "out there",
we can however, control our response to it.
In today's feature article I'll be sharing
one of my secrets for getting out of overwhelm fast -- this saves me
every time.

My secret mantra to eliminate overwhelm

Feeling
so overwhelmed you're coming undone?
Stressed Out!

This
article will be quick ~ I promise!
If you are excessively
multi-tasking it might be time to take a
step back and simplify your
life.
Here's
one of my favorite mantra's (from the I-Ching) to use when overwhelm
seems to be rearing
up on you like a monster truck:
Simple-Easy-Good-Great.
When
you are feeling overwhelmed, take a step back and simplify.
When you do what is simple, it
becomes easy.
By
repeating what is easy, you get good at it...
And by repeating
what you are good at, you become great.
That's it...
Simple-Easy-Good-Great.
Hang this on your wall or computer. When
you're coming undone, remember to take a deep breath and simplify. Sometimes life gets
crazy and we can't always control what's happening "out there."
You
CAN, however control your response to it.
Your Action This Week: Use this mantra
to relax into
the chaos, stop worrying, and start reclaiming control of your
stress response.
