• I was chemically injured several years ago and found that conventional medicine was unable to assist in restoring health and harmony to my body. By most standards, I was considered quite ill and my health was deteriorating rapidly. I worked with many allopathic, holistic and alternative medicine practitioners, each modality and practitioner contributing greatly to my healing. However, at the 5-year mark I reached a plateau. I still experienced food intolerances, chemical sensitivities and my life continued to be challenging on many levels. At this point I found a spiritual healer; we spoke briefly and made an appointment for three weeks later. However, after I hung up the phone I felt my body healing – something very deep was already changing.
• I found great benefit on all levels from this healing work and continued receiving periodic sessions. As I healed, I felt moved to share this work with others. After a blessing of the hands from my spiritual healer, I began formally assisting people with their journey to health. And though my own healing seemed a long time coming, the techniques that I have developed while assisting others seem to bring them along much sooner. 

Focus of Practice: Today, I maintain a thriving healing practice working with people who express a wide variety of health issues – including Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. I have developed a strong medical intuitive ability to literally see into the body, see clear physiological systems and areas of distress, then I follow the body’s instructions to identify the root cause (physical, emotional, spiritual or life path issues) and support the body integrity to heal the imbalance. This process honors the body’s wisdom and involves the client in their own healing journey, which is quite empowering.

Healing and awakening is a lifelong journey. Sometimes physical or emotional dysfunction and distress are created, along with those often extreme instinctive self protection responses that subsequently occur. In this instance we may benefit from assistance in clearing that extreme response or misinformation. I simply use universal energy to give the body higher information about what health, wellness and balance truly is on various levels.

Ways of self-balance and rejuvenation: I am a strong proponent of self healing and some of my favorite resources are Qigong and Tai Chi. This is part of my lifestyle and I attribute much of my own healing to this practice. I share the self-healing techniques that I’ve developed with my clients and a future training and mentoring program for clients and practitioners is in the works.

Message to New Practitioners: Everything is energy. I have taken an innate sensitivity that was creating disruption in my health and evolved it to a resource of healing for myself and others. Many of us are born with these exquisite sensitivities, embracing and learning from them only enriches our life experience, bringing us greater wisdom and peace.

Working With People Seeking Relief When Other Methods Have Failed

Background: In 1989, I was suffering severe back pain due to a car accident and subsequent surgery, which didn’t resolve the issue but certainly added to the symptoms. This prompted me to explore alternative options for healing including chiropractic care, homeopathy, Bach Flower Remedies and herbs, etc., because I sensed the healing was not just a physical issue, but also an emotional one.  In 1998 I met a massage therapist named Laurette and was under her care for 4 -5 years in which time my back began to heal, however I continued to struggle with intermittent pain.  Laurette decided to refer me Jane Fecteau as an intuitive healer for a second opinion.

Working with Jane opened a huge doorway into both my healing and my work with others as a healer. During the last four years, I’ve continued my studies in the healing arts:

My training as an “intuitive energy healer” has awakened the ability to both “see” disruptions and blockages in very specific aspects of the body and function, and energetically feed the body proper information to correct that disharmony. When supported in this way, the body has an astounding ability to right itself.

Intuitive Energy Healing can be defined as the energy fields of the body are infused with a subtle form of vital energy which must flow harmoniously in order to maintain optimum health. This vital energy is known throughout ancient cultures, where whole medical systems are based on the concept that disease results from disruption in the flow of this energy. Each traditional practice, in some way, aids healing by restoring that balance, and my work is wholly based upon this premise.

In essence, I connect with people emotionally and can sense conflict energies that are often expressed in the chakras (energy centers), often fueling the physical symptoms on a deeper level. This ability immediately fosters a sense of being “heard” and supported, which is integral for true healing to occur. I especially love it when people are ready to participate in their own healing.
