Kat Delse received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley. She completed over 1,000 hours of clinical experience as an intern at the AIMC clinic, Berkeley Primary Care, and the Jewish Community Free Clinic. Her professional interests include women’s health and fertility, psycho/emotional/spiritual issues, and pain relief as part of a general family practice. Kat has an additional office in Sacramento with Asian Therapeutics. She also volunteers at the Charlotte Maxwell Center in Oakland, CA and the Sutter Breast Care Center of Santa Rosa offering free acupuncture to help low income women with cancer.

Kat’s interests in healing, service, and herbalism began in childhood, and led her to professional caretaking work for a wide variety of creatures from family pets to infants and the elderly. She seeks first to offer greater health and comfort to others, and when they are willing, to bring greater awareness to the deeper spiritual aspects of their nature. To do this she draws from her various trainings in practices such as meditation and martial arts. As a Reiki Master, Kat often combines hands-on energy healing with the naturally balancing and awakening aspects of acupuncture. In addition, her hundreds of hours of experience as an intuitive counselor, work that included counseling couples from preconception through pregnancy and attendance of births, have given her a great love of fertility and the personal growth that accompanies reproduction.

Kat draws great joy from assisting others in cultivating their well-being. Her own personal journey of healing with the help of acupuncture and herbs has brought a deep sense of compassion and respect for the process a patient undergoes in a course of treatment.
