I am certified as a Health Counselor by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and received my training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods. My interactive workshops, group seminars, teleconferences, and cooking classes are personalized and apply a holistic approach to nutrition and wellness. It is my belief that good health is created not just by eating well, but also by maintaining balance in our relationships, career, exercise, and spiritual practice. As a personal advocate, I guide my clients through a process that empowers them to discover the foods and lifestyle choices that will work best for the life they desire. I graduated with honors from Miami-Dade College with an A.A. in Pre-Law Studies. After graduating with honors from Florida International University with a B.A. in Sociology & Anthropology and minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship, I received a full scholarship to attend Florida State University College of Law where I was awarded my Juris Doctor. I've also studied law at Oxford University in England and the University of the West Indies in Barbados. As a practicing attorney specializing in corporate matters, I get to "follow my bliss" on the faculty at the University of Phoenix in Atlanta where I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Law and Management.
