Dr. Lorraine Caron, ND - holistic family healthcare
Lorraine Caron is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND). She is a 2004 graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon. The ND degree from NCNM requires four years of post-graduate residential study, including both academic and clinical training. Because Colorado does not yet regulate the practice of naturopathic medicine, she maintains her Oregon license. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Colorado Assocation of Naturopathic Doctors (CoAND).
While at NCNM, Dr. Caron completed extensive additional training in classical homeopathy and herbal medicine. In addition, she focused her clinical experience on pediatrics and family medicine. A mother of three, Dr. Caron has a passion for helping children thrive and grow to their fullest potential.
Dr. Caron grew up in Littleton, Colorado, where she attended Heritage High School (go Eagles!) She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1996. She now lives in Fort Collins with her husband, Taylor, and their children, Morgan, Riley and Sierra.
The office is located inside the Access to Health building, "home" to Dr. Ranae Beard, DC, Leslie Sutton, PT, CMT, SET, Dr. Rhonda Marcus, ND, and Dr. Lorraine Caron, ND. We are on the west side of South Taft Hill Road, between West Drake Road and West Horsetooth Road. Moffett Drive is just north of the building. Look for our signs!
Meet the Team
Dr. Lorraine Caron
I love my job! Every day I have the opportunity to help my patients find their way to better health by teaching them the basics of wellness and empowering them to incorporate those practices into their lives. I believe that nutritious food, good hydration, regular movement, sunshine and a sense of purpose and connection to others provide the foundation for a healthy life.
I find that most of us are missing one or more of these fundamental elements. Often, our lives and bodies have been out of balance for a very long time. Natural therapies such as homeopathy, hydrotherapy, herbs, nutritional supplements, meditation and prayer are the tools I use to help my patients regain that balance.
I enjoy the variety of people who seek me out. My particular joy is helping children be well. Children grow and change so quickly and they have incredible potential and vitality. A small improvement in their health often means a big benefit down the road. As a mom of three, I bring not only my medical experience, but my "on the job" training in parenting and child development.
I am passionate about what I do and I encourage everyone to experience the benefits naturopathic medicine has to offer!
