Premier Pilates and Yoga is dedicated to the preservation of the authentic teachings of Joseph Pilates. Our Instructors have gone through Classical Pilates Certifications with a minimum of 600 hours of training, observation and apprenticeship, and most of our Instructors have completed up to three Pilates Certifications--more than 1,800 hours of training.Â
Our Sessions and Classes educate clients and allow them, through guidance and support, to take charge of their own health and well-being. All sessions are tailored to your individual body utilizing the six Authentic Pilates principles allow you to achieve your goals. Whether you are a beginner, a senior, training for a marathon, pregnant, or rehabilitating from an injury, Premier Pilates and Yoga will help you to a chieve a stronger, leaner, longer, more flexible, and better balanced body.
In addition to Pilates we offer a variety of yoga group classes and private sessions to accommodate all levels. Classes are offered in Hatha, Vinyasa, Kripalu and Ashtanga Instruction, and we also offer Specialty Yoga Classes for Beginners, Prenatal/Postpartum, Osteoporosis Athletes, Teens, Theraputics, Heart Disease/Cancer and other Special Populations. We also offer Yoga Therapy, Personal Training, Kettlebell and Thai Yoga Private and Semi-Private Sessions.Â Our Yoga Instructors, Personal Trainers and Pilates Instructors have a variety of certifications with ten or more years of teaching experience and over 3,000 hours of study.Â
Our intimate, private studio has private, semi-private and small group equipment sessions as well as Pilates Mat and Yoga Classes of no more than 4-6 people to ensure individual attention and to make sure you are receiving the maximum attention for your time, effort and money.Â

Adriene Ingalls, MA, CPT, RYT 500, SYT
Adriene Ingalls, MA, CPT, RYT 500, SYT is the Director of Premier Pilates & Yoga. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor, a second generation Pilates Instructor, Yoga Therapist and Personal Trainer with over 15 years experience teaching Yoga and Pilates. Adriene currently holds five full pilates certifications as well as certifications in Pilates for Pregnancy, Pilates for Rehabilitation and Pilates for Osteoporosis. She was one of the first Pilates Instructors to be awarded the Gold Certified Pilates Instructor Designation by the Pilates Method Alliance.Â
Adriene has been privileged to study extensively with two of the five remaining proteges of Joseph Pilates: Romana Kryzanowska (3 years) and Kathleen Stanford Grant (13 1/2 years). As a Master Instructor, Personal Trainer and Movement Specialist, Adriene has presented Instructor Certifications and Workshops in yoga, pilates, yoga therapy, personal training, pilates and muscle energy techniques, muscle release techniques and post-rehabilitation throughout the United States and abroad for over ten years. Adriene has also worked closely with several Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physicians and Physical Therapists for many years in New York City and Westchester NY.Â
Adriene is also a Multi-certified Yoga Instructor and Yoga Therapist. She is certified in the Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Kripalu Styles of Yoga, Prenatal-postpartum Yoga, Yoga for Osteoporosis, Yoga for Heart Disease & Cancer, Thai Yoga Bodywork and Yoga Therapy. Adriene has also completed over 15,000 hours of manual therapy, muscle release techniques and energywork and currently has 5 specialty certifications in the above.
Adriene's interest in, and extensive study of anatomy, biomechanics, yoga therapy and rehabilitation has led to her specializing in working with Athletes, Musicians, Seniors, people with chronic pain and injuries, Prenatal/Postpartum, Osteoporosis, Heart Disease, Cancer and other special populations. Adriene worked as a Master Presenter for the Spinning Program for over four years certifying hundreds of Spinning Instructors throughout the United States. She is also a NYC Marathoner, Competitive Cyclist and an accomplished Classical Pianist and currently lives in New York City.
