As an Alexander Technique teacher, Shula provides the teaching of a new skill: The capability to use our body structure in a beneficial way instead of harmful way. She offers 45 minutes individual lessons, as well as group lessons. The individual lesson consists of chair work, personal movements per the participant’s request, and table work. It includes both hands on and verbal guidance. It is taught step by step, transforming stress into ease, encouraging thinking in activity, and expanding the kinesthetic experience of the participant. Shula works with people with back, neck, shoulder issues who need to restore daily movement, as well as with people in the performing arts who wish to enhance their artistic performance be it vocal presentation, music playing, dance, acting, martial arts movement, or horse riding.
