The Fall/Winter time means the cold & flu season has returned. Ayurveda has some very simple home remedies to prevent, heal, and quickly avoid lingering congestion:
- sip hot water or tea throughout the day to improve digestion
- reduce or avoid white sugar white flour products as they cause congestion and prevent digesting nutrients from our food.
- continue to be active, getting plenty of fresh air and sunshine
