Roni Weisberg-Ross LMFT - West Los Angeles therapist specializing in the treatment of sexual abuse and trauma, emotional abuse, chronic depression & relationship issues
I am a private practice psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples, and I lead a weekly Adults Abused as Children support therapy group at the Family Resource Counseling Center in W.L.A. I am also a Clinical Supervisor for interning counselors at the Southern California Counseling Center, where I conduct workshops on Trauma and Abuse.
Previously, I co-facilitated Domestic Violence Groups working with both victims and aggressors and worked alongside former gang members educating and training community volunteers about gang related issues. Because of my prior experience with Medical Family Therapy, I co-facilitated an experimental Diabetes support group at UCLA. Most of my professional life has been devoted to helping people with any type of violence or abuse in their personal lives.
My specialization is the treatment of sexual abuse and trauma, emotional abuse, severe depression and relationship issues. And I work with individuals and couples on other issues such as improving communication, self esteem, social anxiety, addictive or compulsive behavior and life cycle transitions (school, career, marriage, separation, infertility, mid-life, illness, loss and bereavement).
