On my WorldAcupunctureBlog I recently posted about ‘The Business of Acupuncture’ and how a successful Acupuncture practice/business will take on an energetic life of its own, requiring our management.

By taking the pulse or managing your Acupuncture practice/business you can stay on top of one of the toughest of games, creating a successful business.

On WorldAcupunctureBlog I recently posted a video showing the Japanese Acupuncture treatment used to relieve the severe Flu symptoms that Efrat had been enduring for the past 72hrs.

Her symptoms had included overwhelming lethargy, body aches and severe, persistent, debilitating 24/7 headaches from which she had been unable to gain any relief, regardless of pain killing drugs, rest, or attempted sleep.

Efrat was unable to sleep at all due to the severity of the headaches!

Off work for 3 days, Efrat was getting desperate to regain some semblance of normality in her life and was becoming increasingly concerned about her inability to resolve the headaches and overwhelming lethargy.

After the first few minutes of her Japanese Acupuncture treatment Efrat commented that her headache was improving, by the end of her treatment her headache had been resolved.

By the next day the headache, lethargy and body aches had completely disappeared and she was able to get back to work.

On my WorldAcupunctureBlog I recently wrote a valuable article for Acupuncture practitioners and students in response to an email from one of my students.  The subject of this email is Acupuncture Inspiration and in my reply to Adam's email I address the pertinent issue of being both a teacher and student of Traditional Japanese Acupuncture simultaneously.

Greetings,
http://worldacupunctureblog.com and http://worldacupuncture.com are all about Exploring the Art of Acupuncture in the 21st Century .
As a practitioner of this extra-ordinary Oriental Medical Art/Science for 25 years I have witnessed many amazing clinical outcomes as a result of treatment.

As we gain momentum in this turbo charged century it is becoming apparent that the Art of Traditional Acupuncture is coming under increasing pressure from under educated practitioners with very few skills,  from the local store owner to allied medical professionals who believe that completing a 2 day, 2 week, 2 month even a 2 year quickie course qualifies them to adjudicate as to what is and is not sham acupuncture.

From my perspective as a senior practitioner this scenario is of great concern as people tout their 'results' authoritatively and influence the world media, hence population regarding the efficacy or otherwise of Acupuncture.

http://worldacupuncture.com and http://worldacupunctureblog.com revolve around and are concerned with clinical outcomes using the refined skills and deep understanding of bio energetics that makes up the core of Traditional Acupuncture.

If you put a scalpel in the hands of a butcher to perform a delicate surgical procedure requiring intricate knowledge of human anatomy the chance of a positive outcome is far less than when the scalpel is in the hands of a skilled and experienced surgeon.
Wouldn't you agree?

How is it then, that under qualified and inexperienced practitioners of all shapes and kinds feel that sticking the needle in and turning it around qualifies as REAL acupuncture and are naive enough to publish the results of their research as if they are an authority on such matters.

Their are over 40 videos on http://worldacupunctureblog.com covering actual treatment, patient reviews and relative commentary dealing with clinical outcomes as distinct from random research.

Come and have a look at Traditional Japanese Acupuncture in action and judge for yourself.

Hope you have a great day/night,

Alan
